About us

B&PLUS JAPAN was launched as the Japanese member of the Balluff family of companies, headquartered in Germany as a manufacturer of sensors for major industries. In our more than three decades of experience, we have focused on wireless technology research and advancing mass production.

While many companies are new entrants to the development of wireless power supply technology, we have more than 30 years of experience in developing and manufacturing wireless power supply devices. Rising above the competition, B&PLUS JAPAN provides wireless power transfer (WPT) technologies with wide power range solutions and options for signal transmission. With many accomplishments in the WPT field, we are proud to have the largest product lineup in the world.

Providing products to manufacturers of automobiles, machine tools and many others, B&PLUS JAPAN is making a difference by bringing wireless power applications to a variety of industries.

Message from the President

B&PLUS was established in 1980 to develop advanced electronic technologies and products for use in machining tools and other manufacturing equipment. Two areas of particular focus are wireless power supply and RFID technology. We work ceaselessly to find new innovations and take pride in the trust our customers place in us for developing new ways to create value.

In recent years, wireless power supply has become a core industrial technology, and our approach to the technology has helped fuel changes and developments in a wide range of industries. B&PLUS strives to be a manufacturer of outstanding wireless power supply solutions that help conventional processes evolve with new products and technology development.

History

  • Founded as Nihon Balluff with joint financing, half from Balluff GmbH of Germany and half from Japanese investors.
  • Independently developed the Remote Sensor product lineup to provide innovative sensor solutions.
  • Corporate name changed from Nihon Balluff to B&PLUS.
  • American subsidiary established in Kentucky.
  • American location opened in Torrance, California.
